Karl Saks at Lisbon — Centro Cultural da Malaposta

The second residence of Materiais Diversos took place in an auditorium in the periphery of Lisbon — Centro Cultural da Malaposta, between February 4th till 17th, and had three different moments in Karl Saks process for “Planet Alexithymia”: research with his team, workshop with artists and students, and open rehearsal on the last day. The performance examines isolation, which is centred by the body and its strength, utility, obedience, distribution and surrender. Observes how the environment colonizes the body, sets boundaries, influences, manipulates.
